VIDEO: Ignatian Leadership Today

Like so many others, Contemplative Leaders in Action transitioned to a virtual platform after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. The idea of inviting Ignatian leaders to share their insights emerged as a meaningful way to engage the CLA community.

In April 2020, Chris Lowney and Mary Novak were invited to be the first presenters in what we hope will become a recurring event, "Ignatian Leadership Today." On May 25, 2020, two weeks before our scheduled date, George Floyd was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota renewing or initiating vital conversations around diversity, racism, and the work of anti-racism.

Mary and Chris generously reoriented their comments in response to the moment, offering timely considerations for Ignatian leaders. CLA is grateful to Chris and Mary and the nearly one hundred members of our community who participated in our first conversation on Ignatian Leadership Today.”

As always, we invite you to be part of the conversation about how as a community of Ignatian leaders, we can better respond to this and other urgent issues facing our world.
