The latest news and events from Ignatian Young Adult Ministries
St. Ignatius's spirituality has an entrepreneurial spirit: he was discerning, adaptable, and focused on pursuing a mission of glorifying God and serving others. Ignatius ended up founding one of the most successful "startups" in the history of the Western world. This history is relevant for all spiritual seekers, especially young adults. We desire belonging and growth by engaging treasures old and new, including digital spiritual tools: prayer apps, podcasts, blogs, and vlogs. How might we find God in all things today?
Join us for an exciting conversation with Fr. Joe Laramie, SJ, and with Nathan Crankfield of the Hallow app to explore how we can find God in all things and cultivate a healthy digital age spirituality. Dr. Dave de la Fuente, Associate Director for Ignatian Young Adult Ministries, will moderate.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..." (Matthew 11:28). Our world today is groaning. Violence near and far, not to mention the more personal aches that come with being human, make this year's Lenten season feel particularly heavy. Are you longing for a rest, a reflective space where we might each take stock not only of our laments but also our hopes? Would you like to prayerfully shine light on the love you see manifest, even in hard times, or simply invite God to be with you and-- all those supportively gathered online-- in the stillness of a half hour? If so, please join us for a guided Ignatian Examen, written and led by Kate André. Give yourself the gift of a mid-Lenten pit stop so we can all find the nourishment we need for the road to Easter. All are welcome!
