Ignatian Parenting! Join us for a Listening Session with Goodfaith

Parents are invited to a Jesuit Connections listening session about a new pilot program for parents:

  • April 29, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. ET

  • May 13, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. ET

We will soon be offering a new opportunity for parents and families looking for more! Jesuit Connections is partnering with Goodfaith (formerly, Center for FaithJustice) as they pilot a new program, Family Matters, through an online community inspired by Ignatian Spirituality.

This fall, we will be inviting you to journey with us in an intentional online family community. Together, we will explore faith through prayer, faith sharing, service and justice, family discernment and living in right relationship. All through an Ignatian lens! Opportunities will include retreats from home, community building, resources and activities, spiritual direction and mentoring.

In the meantime, we are hosting two online listening sessions with parents this spring. Goodfaith and Jesuit Connections want to hear from you: What are the joys and challenges you're experiencing as individuals and as parents on this faith journey?

Sign up for the date that works best for you. Attendance to a listening session is not required to participate in the Family Matters program next fall but we value your input!

Maggie Smith is the Senior Director for Strategy at Goodfaith. She's been on the full time staff with Goodfaith for 7 years, but first came to know them through their programs as a high school student and young adult. She received her M.A in theology and pastoral ministry from Villanova University, where she also worked as a graduate resident minister. She lives in South Jersey with her husband and 19 month old daughter.  Maggie is passionate about our call to service and justice as Catholics, and creating spaces for young adults (and now especially young adult parents) to build community with others, especially around shared values and passion for faith in action.
