Please join Jesuit Connections for our upcoming in-person event, From the Northwest to Boston: Finding Life's Path in Ending Homelessness, on Thursday Oct. 6, 2022, beginning at 6:30 PM Eastern.
Sean Terry will join us and share his experience as the Director of Housing Services for the New England Center and Home for Veterans. Sean will discuss the importance of housing as a human right and what challenges exist within the current housing crisis.
We will discuss Catholic social teaching and the importance of the dignity of the person.
This event is free and open to all young adults (ages 21-39.) Pizza and drinks will be provided. Please fill out the form below to receive further event information.
Sean Terry has been working to end homelessness in Boston for over 10 years. After graduating from Fordham University, he went on to serve two years as a full-time volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest. His first year was in Spokane, WA at a shelter called House of Charity. His second year was in Portland, OR at New Avenues for Youth, an organization dedicated to the prevention of youth homelessness. Inspired by his time in the world of Ignatian spirituality, Sean immediately moved to Boston and began a lifelong career in homelessness prevention. He has worked for the New England Center and Home for Veterans, the City of Boston, and currently holds a position in affordable housing compliance at Related Management Company.
